I am a translator from the Spanish, Portuguese, and non-national Romance languages. My scholarship on the medieval to modern Iberian
world inevitably engages translation and the questions it kicks up about representation, transhistorical citizenship, and the affordances of transfer. I consider translation as a platform for relation through differentiation, and identification through alienation. En face is a must, iykyk.
I am available for comissions of literary translations. I’m particularly interested in the authors of the Ibero-American modernist wave, and medieval and early modern poets.
